A range of liquid formulations of ericoid fungi and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria are each tuned and tested for optimum performance in specific field crops. These fungi and bacteria are produced in sterile laboratory conditions under stringent QA control, each microorganism species in consortia is individually packed to ensure the product quality.

Within as little as four weeks, ericoid mycorrhizal fungi create a huge secondary root system that will support the plant by supplying nutrients and water for its lifetime. Plants treated with SR4 will have superior water and nutrient uptake, especially in poor soil conditions, with more abundant flowers and heavier cropping, less need for synthetic fertiliser and better survival in drought conditions. better natural vigour and overall health.
Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) have the ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen and unlock soil-bound phosphorus and potassium as well as other nutrients. They also produce phytohormones to promote better root and shoot development. Beneficial bacteria work in synergy with AMF, which captures and transports nutrients to host plants. PGPR support a robust plant immune system for healthier crops.
PlantWorks’ research has shown that different species of PGPR give benefits to different plant types. The bacterial and fungal strains in SR4 have been specifically selected and formulated to give maximum benefit to each specific crop.
SR4 Blueberries can be applied as a root drench with either a hand sprayer or a suitable irrigation system
Product size: 5,000 plants treatment includes: 2 x 50ml sachets of bacterial inoculant, 2 x 50ml sachets of ericoid mycorrhiza inoculant, a 1L bottle of biostimulant and a sachet of dechlorinating agent for water treatment.
